PORTLAND, Ore. -- Two armed robbers held up a northeast Portland pub after a customer scored a video poker jackpot Tuesday.Employees and customers describe the Hour Glass Pub on Northeast Glisan Street as a friendly neighborhood bar where a robbery had not occurred in more than 10 years. But bartender Ryan Fleck said Wednesday that he's still trying to calm down from a scary night on the job.Fleck said a customer won a video poker jackpot at about 10 p.m. Tuesday. When Fleck opened up one of the machines to fetch the winnings, the mood suddenly changed."I was back there counting money and then people were screaming," Fleck said. "But it's a bar, music is up, people are screaming, it happens."When Fleck returned to the bar with about $1,300 in his hand, a man with a hood over his face confronted him and demanded the cash.Fleck said he thought it was a friend who was kidding around."I'm like, 'Come on, man. Chill out. What are you talking about?' Then I saw the gun and it was pointed straight at me and he bumped me in the forehead with it," Fleck said. "I'm like, 'OK, that's the real thing. That's no joke.' "The robber was caught on camera in surveillance video. He forced Fleck to open the till and empty it out before his accomplice arrived."His buddy came in and said, 'You're taking too long,' and they split," Fleck said. The robbers ran out the back door and Fleck called police, but officers never found the two men.Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call Portland police.
