TIGARD, Ore. -- Tigard police are looking for a couple who beat and robbed a man after they responded to his Craigslist ad.Police said a man and woman showed up at the victim's Morning Hill Drive house Tuesday around 10 p.m. in response to the ad. Officers said the victim was beaten with a handgun and then tied up with tape and plastic ties.Steve Dinda said his neighbor came to his house and pounded on his door in search of help. Blood still remained on Dinda's front porch Wednesday night."He was just full of blood and he said he got robbed and pistol whipped," Dinda said. "He had tape around his wrists."Other neighbors said they heard a loud scream before midnight."I looked out the window and saw a person walking up the street with another person yelling and screaming," said Janet Bean, who lives in the neighborhood.Officers said the couple stole the man's wallet, cell phone and pickup truck. The victim told police he tried to stop the pair from driving away with his truck, but he was unsuccessful, according to the Tigard Police Department."I went into his living room and saw a huge pile of blood," Dinda said. "There was blood everywhere."The truck was found overnight in a field adjacent to Mary Woodward Elementary School, but the couple is still at large. Meanwhile, the victim was treated at a hospital for his injuries, which weren't believed to be life-threatening.Police have not released the nature of the ad posted on Craigslist.Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call 503-718-2576.
