UPDATED: 5:19 pm PDT October 21, 2008

Police released sketches Tuesday of two people accused of a bloody beating in a Tigard neighborhood.

Detectives said a man and woman showed up at a Morning Hill Drive house last week in response to an ad on Craigslist. Police said a man who lives there was beaten with a handgun and then tied up with tape and plastic ties.

The two attackers stole the man's wallet and cell phone and then drove away in his pickup truck, which was later abandoned near Mary Woodward Elementary School.

The nature of the Craigslist ad has not been released by police.

The male robber is described as white, 6 feet 4 inches to 6 feet 5 inches tall and 200 to 240 pounds with an athletic build. The man was about 30 years old and has a tribal-type tattoo on his forearm.

The woman involved is described as white, about 25 to 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 to 160 pounds. She had shoulder-length, dirty blond hair.

The robbery occurred Oct. 14 at 10 p.m. Anyone with information on the identity of the attackers is asked to call 503-718-2576.
