SCAPPOOSE, Ore. -- A woman is thanking the employees at a local car dealership for helping her get her missing wedding ring back. When Shannon Hill set out to look for a new car she had no idea she would lose her wedding ring in the process.Last weekend, Hill and her husband went to Dick Hannah Honda to trade in their 2004 Honda Pilot. After a few hours, the couple decided on a new car and decided to get rid of the Pilot.Hill said she cleaned all of her belongings out of the car but forgot her wedding ring was stashed inside the car's glove compartment.Hill said she put it there after a stone got knocked loose and forgot to take it out before handing over the keys.Three days later, her husband received a call from the dealership saying a worker found her ring in the car.Hill said she hadn't even realized it was missing yet and rushed down to get it.On Monday, she was very thankful that the people at the dealership helped her get her ring back."I was surprised somebody gave it back because they could have just put it in their pocket and I never would have seen it again," Hill said.Hill got her ring back just in time to celebrate her 10th anniversary with her husband.
