Driver Hit Biker, Drove With Man Stuck On Hood

A man caught on camera in a road-rage attack will spend at least the next month and a half behind bars.

James Millican faced charges stemming from an incident where he drove into a bicyclist in July. On Monday, he changed his plea to guilty on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, DUII and attempted assault.

In July, Millican got upset with a bicyclist after the man told him to slow down.

He drove into the cyclist and a witness captured it on a cell phone camera as the cyclist managed to jump on the hood and hold onto the windshield wipers.

The bicyclist managed to hop off a few blocks later when the car slowed down.

In court Monday, Millican said very little, but the victim called the sentence fair.

"As the court clearly showed, he was already in a bad mood and that exacerbated everything. So I accept my responsibility, but I don't think I did anything to provoke being run over," victim Jason Rehnberg said.

Millican will spend a month and a half in jail for the unlawful use a weapon charge, he'll perform community service for the DUII charge, and if he stays out of trouble for two years prosecutors agreed to drop the attempted assault charge.
