ALOHA, Ore. -- The same man is being sought in connection with two Washington County robberies, deputies said Sunday.Authorities said a man used a gun to rob a Dollar Tree store on Cornell Road at about 5:20 p.m. on Saturday.Three hours later, Washington County deputies were called to another robbery five miles away at Richards Deli in Aloha. Deputies said the man brought a Keno ticket to the counter and then told the clerk he wanted all the money. He showed a handgun with a black and silver handle, deputies said.Residents who live in the area said the robbery came as a surprise.
"I stop in here frequently; it hasn't been up long, so it's a little bit shocking that (an) establishment this new got robbed that fast," said Theresa Olson, who lives nearby.Authorities released surveillance photos Sunday in hopes of finding the man responsible.Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call 503-846-2500.
