A bold thief is being sought by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office after he recently stole four high definition TVs from a Target store in Wilsonville, deputies said.

On Dec. 28, the man picked up two 32-inch high definition TVs, an iPod docking station and several Blu-Ray discs. After filling his shopping cart with electronics, he simply walked out the front door, deputies said.

Before he reached the parking lot, surveillance cameras captured him pulling his cart around the store. Target customers said they're surprised by the man's bold actions.

"I think it's crazy," said Connie Hallen, a customer at the store. "I don't know how a guy can walk out with two televisions."

A week later, the man returned, authorities said. He loaded two HDTVs into his cart and again walked out. The store' security staff then said he called the store to taunt them, saying he couldn't be stopped and that he would be back.

Target employees estimate the man escaped with $3,000 in merchandise in his two trips.

"TVs -- that's the thing. It's usually clothing or something, but not flat-screen TVs," said Szilard Hegdus, who was shopping at the store Monday.

While deputies are investigating the thefts, they had few leads as of Monday.

The man is described as white, in his mid-30s, about 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, 180 pounds with a bald or shaved head. He also had a thin beard with a goatee. Anyone with information is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office.
