Fisherman Finds Body Near Town Of Hebo

A fisherman found a body in the Nestucca River near the western Oregon town of Hebo on Friday.

Sheriff's deputies were called to the Three Rivers Boat Ramp at about 1:15 p.m. A dive team from the sheriff's office recovered the body and removed it from the river.

It has since been taken to a funeral home in Tillamook.

Deputies haven't identified the body and the person's death remains under investigation. They've released no other details.
