BRUSH PRAIRIE, Wash. -- Parents expressed concern Wednesday about a possible drug investigation at Hockinson High School. The school's superintendent said there's an investigation into drug abuse at the school and it may involve students. Clark County deputies were investigating whether students had sold drugs at the school."We just don't have things like that out here," said parent Cathy Blackwell. "It's a pretty close campus, a tight-knit community and I just don't see that happening."The district was tight-lipped about the investigation Wednesday and Clark County deputies said they don't comment on open cases involving students. However, several parents said they heard the investigation centers around a handful of students. A parent who did not want to be identified said a district administrator told him that students illegally sold prescription drugs to be used for studying. The school's principal refused to comment on the investigation.
