Something went wrong during an independent film shoot near Lebanon, leaving one man badly burned.

Fire investigators said the film crew was attempting a pyrotechnic stunt when part of a house and a man caught fire.

A representative from GTL Media said Thursday afternoon that the company officially has no comment on the fire.

Investigators said GTL Media was shooting an independent film scene at an abandoned house on Brewster Road just outside of Lebanon on Saturday when the accident happened.

GTL had a certified pyrotechnician at the site during the scene, but for an unknown reason the house and a member of the crew caught fire, fire officials said.

A Scio fire crew happened to be near the scene and was able to quickly put out the fire and order a REACH helicopter to take the burn victim to Emanual Hospital in Portland.

There is no word what the victim's name is or what his medical condition is.
