Cornelius Man Missing After Fishing Trip

Cornelius police are searching for a man who was last seen heading out for an overnight fishing trip.

Bill Peterson, 53, went on the trip to an unknown location, according to a press release from the Cornelius Police Department.

He has been known to frequent Detroit Lake, Fay Lake, Hagg Lake and various waterways in Yamhill County.

Peterson is described as white, 6 feet tall and about 190 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Officers said he takes medication for diabetes.

Peterson left for the fishing trip in a pickup truck similar to the one pictured below.
Anyone with information on Peterson's location is asked to call 503-359-1881.
