HILLSBORO, Ore. -- A narcotics task force busted a methamphetamine ring, arrested five people and seized drugs, guns and money during two raids Monday.The Westside Interagency Narcotics team served a search warrant at the home in the 1800 block of Southeast Hanover Street at about noon and found methamphetamine, guns and cash, police said.The investigation then led the team to a rural farmhouse in Laurel where they stopped several vehicles that were leaving the residence and found more meth, guns and money, police said.The team said the investigation took apart a drug trafficking organization that was distributing meth throughout the area.Investigators seized 1.4 pounds of methamphetamine worth about $30,000, nine guns and more than $11,000.Five people were arrested in the raids on varying drug-related crimes: Alejandro Mendoza-Sanchez, 21, was arrested on charges of possession, manufacturing and distribution of a methamphetamine. Freddie Villanueva, 48, was arrested on charges of distribution of OxyContin and manufacturing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school (Hillsboro High School). Jessica Young, 29, was arrested on charges of possession of OxyContin and unrelated warrants. Antonio Sanchez-Zamudio, 43, was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit distribution of a methamphetamine and carrying a concealed weapon. Rosando Zamudio-Nunez, 38, was arrested on charges of conspiracy to commit distribution of methamphetamine and first-degree theft. 9 Guns, $30,000 In Meth Seized In Raids
