Recycling TVs In Oregon

The Bureau of Land Management is warning people not to take that old TV set outside for target practice.

Televisions are full of toxic materials. If you don't get rid of it right away, it can pose a threat to the environment.

The BLM estimates it can cost up to $7,000 to clean up a shot-up TV set.

To recycle your old set, use the Oregon E-Cycles program from the DEQ.
