Clackamas Stabbing Suspect Surrenders

POSTED: 9:28 am PDT July 2, 2009

A suspect in a weekend stabbing in Clackamas turned himself in at the Clackamas County jail on Wednesday night.

Casey Hatch, 30, was wanted in connection with the assault of 35-year-old Elijah Antosh, of Vancouver. Sheriff's deputies said Antosh was bleeding profusely when they arrived at a Clackamas home late Friday night.

Paramedics rushed Antosh to a Portland hospital, where he's still recovering from his injuries.

Detectives searched the area for Hatch, but were unable to find him until he turned himself in Wednesday. He is scheduled to be arraigned on an assault charge Thursday afternoon.

Authorities haven't released a motive for the attack.
