PORTLAND, Ore. -- Police surrounded a home Sunday in a southeast Portland neighborhood where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.A shooting was first reported at Southeast 92nd Avenue and Duke Street at 5 p.m. When officers arrived in the area, they detained a possible shooter; however, the victim did not want to cooperate with the investigation. As a result, no arrests have been made, police said.Guytona Miller said her daughter was inside a home surrounded by police at the time the man was detained."She just called me and said, 'Mom, there is somebody in our house. Could you please come get me because I'm really freaked out,'" Miller said.The shooting victim's injuries are not life-threatening, according to officers.The incident was one of two weekend shootings in southeast Portland. One person was seriously injured in a shooting on 122nd Avenue on Saturday night.
