WEST LINN, Ore. -- Police arrested a man and seized cash, a gun and a large amount of drugs Tuesday morning.Alex C. Bradley, 18, was arrested on charges of possession and providing false information to police after he gave a fake name to West Linn police as he drove out of Mary S. Young Park a little after midnight, Sgt. Neil Hennelly said. The park had been closed for several hours when the officer pulled Bradley over for violating the park hours. Bradley gave the officer a false name and said he didn't have any identification on him, Hennelly said. The officer took him into custody and, while handcuffing him, saw that Bradley was wearing a wrist band that had his name on it, Hennelly said. The officer confirmed that Bradley was driving on a suspended license and his car was then impounded.Inside the car's trunk, officers found two backpacks, a meth pipe and a safe. A K-9 unit was brought in and indicated that there were drugs inside the safe, Hennelly said. Inside police found 350 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 18 bags of tar heroin, methadone, oxycodone, a digital scale, illegal fireworks, packaging materials, a semi-automatic pistol, a Happy Valley officer's uniform and nearly $3,000 in cash, Hennelly said.View Photos Of Bradley And Seized ItemsThe officer's uniform had been reported stolen out of a car that had been broken into several months ago, Hennelly said. The case is being referred to a grand jury for additional charges that will likely include delivery and possession of various controlled substances within 1,000 feet of a school."This is a substantial drug bust," said Police Chief Terry Timeus.
