Deputies are looking for a man they say is responsible for at least three armed robberies in Clackamas County.

The man used a knife in each robbery, said Detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office in a news release.

Strovink said the following businesses were hit by the robber Sept. 19:

  • Radio Shack, located at 13690 Southeast Mcloughlin Boulevard, in the Oak Grove area of Milwaukie at 6:31 p.m.
  • Payless Shoe Store, located at 19017 South Beavercreek Road, in Oregon City at 7:46 p.m.
  • Denny's Restaurant, located at 15805 Southeast 82nd Drive, in Clackamas at 8:42 p.m.
  • Fantasy For Adults Only, located at 15536 Southeast 82nd Drive, was also robbed at 3:10 p.m. by a man armed with a knife, Strovink said.

Portland police have reported similar robberies as well.

The robber is an adult male, white and in his late 30s or early 40s. He is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds. He has a mustache and a goatee.

The robber was seen wearing a black baseball hat, blue jeans, a light-colored zipper-front hooded sweatshirt and skater-style shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Department tip line at 503-723-4949.
