PORTLAND, Ore. -- A man who hit and killed a local musician while driving drunk was sentenced to a year in prison and three years of probation Monday.In March, 32-year-old Anthony Miller hit and killed Daniel Baldwin near Southeast 21st Avenue and Powell Boulevard.Baldwin was on his motorcycle and died at the scene. He was a musician and active in the motorcycle community.One of Baldwin's friends spoke at the sentencing."Dan's absence in our lives will leave a gap of epic proportions. He was a best friend to many of us. We will always remember his radiant charm and energy and positive approach to his adventures and misadventures of life. Our lives will go on without him but they will never be the same," said Kelly Ellerbroek.
