CAMAS, Wash. -- A southwest Washington woman who suspected she accidentally gave out her 2-karat diamond ring while handing out Halloween candy said she found her ring Thursday.

Joan Collins said she located the ring underneath one of the planters outside her front door.

Collins said about 300 trick-or-treaters visited her home in the Lacamas Shores neighborhood on Saturday.

She suspected the ring fell into a plastic pumpkin belonging to a young girl.

Collins owned the ring for 20 years and rarely removed it. She realized her ring was missing the next day.
