COQUILLE, Ore. -- A man who fled Coos County following his August indictment on child pornography charges has been sentenced to three years in prison.Attorney General John Kroger said John Calvin Hudson III was arrested in September at a Bend motel. He pleaded guilty Tuesday to encouraging child sex abuse and was taken into custody after the hearing.Hudson's arrest followed an investigation by the Oregon Department of Justice's Internet Crimes against Children unit, which investigates and prosecutes predators who use the internet to target and sexually exploit children."Child pornography victimizes children and the people who engage in it need to be punished," Kroger said in a news release Wednesday.
