The American Red Cross said it is providing assistance to two adults and a teenager displaced by a fire in Oregon City that killed five dogs.

Firefighters saved two puppies from the fire that burned a mobile home, according to the Red Cross.

No people were injured in the blaze.

About five hours later, the Red Cross said fire crews battled a residential fire on the 13400 block of Southwest Noblitt Place in Gaston.

The blaze displaced an elderly woman, who is being cared for by her family.
