LINCOLN CITY, Ore. -- An 80-year-old man has been arrested on charges he fired his gun outside Chinook Winds Casino early Friday morning, police said.Robert Harder, who lives in Sweet Home, is accused of pointing his gun at two different people after an argument in the casino's parking lot at about 2 a.m.Lincoln City police said Harder then fired one round in the direction of a victim, who was close enough to hit Harder in the wrist. Officers said the contact knocked the gun out of Harder's hand and there was a brief struggle before casino security showed up.Security officers detained Harder until police arrived.Alcohol is likely a factor in the incident, according to Sgt. Jeffrey Winn of Lincoln City police.Harder was booked into the Lincoln County Jail on charges of unlawful use of a weapon, reckless endangering, unlawful possession of a firearm, menacing and pointing a firearm at another person.Chinook Winds Casino is located in the Oregon Coast town of Lincoln City.
