LINCOLN CITY, Ore. -- Three teenagers have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting at a Lincoln City apartment complex on Sunday.

Lincoln City police were called to The Ridge Apartments at 4:30 p.m. Minutes later, police stopped an SUV with three people inside after witnesses reported the vehicle at the scene of the shooting.

One person in the SUV had died from a gunshot wound and another was wounded, police said.

After investigating, officers arrested 19-year-old Samuel Fajardo-Landa and two younger teens. Fajardo-Landa and one of the other teens were taken into custody early Monday morning.

The third teenager was arrested after an Oregon State Police SWAT team talked him out of an apartment at about 6 a.m. Monday.

The two younger teens were being held at a juvenile detention facility on charges of murder, attempted murder, assault and criminal mischief. Fajardo-Landa is being held on a charge of conspiracy to commit murder.

Lincoln City police have not released any details about what led to the shooting or whether the victims and suspects knew each other.

Officers also have not released the names of the victims.
