A 22-year-old man was arrested Tuesday on charges he fired a gun during a robbery at the Woodstock Market in southeast Portland.

Chiew Tong Saechao is now facing charges of attempted murder, first-degree robbery and other weapons-related offenses.

Officers were called to the area of Southeast 86th Avenue and Woodstock Street at about 5:20 p.m. Monday after a report of the shots being fired. They soon determined the shots were related to a robbery at the market.

No one was hit by the gunshots. Police said they recovered evidence at the scene, but did not specify what they found.

Police said they're still investigating the shooting and robbery.
