PORTLAND, Ore. -- Police have made arrests in a Friday morning home invasion robbery in southeast Portland.Officers were called to the 5700 block of Southeast 72nd Avenue after a report of the robbery at 4:10 a.m. They found three people in an apartment at that address had been assaulted.Police spokesman Greg Stewart said two of the victims were hospitalized with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. At one point, officers were involved in a chase in the area, but the wanted person crashed the car and ran off on foot, police said.Stewart said neighbors shouldn't be concerned about an armed criminal at large."We don't believe there's a threat to the general public," Stewart said. "We're still investigating and trying to piece together what occurred."While police said arrests have been made in the investigation, they did not say how many people were in custody.Several streets in the area were blocked off Friday morning and police could be seen bagging evidence at the scene of the crime.
