Police Say Teens Stole $10K Worth Of Jeans

A group of teenagers have been taken into custody on charges they stole more than $10,000 worth of high-end jeans.

Portland police said the group called themselves the "Mini Boys" and that they worked to steal stacks of expensive jeans from stores such as Nordstrom's and Sacks Fifth Avenue in downtown Portland and at nearby malls.

The group is accused of reselling the jeans to high school students at a steep discount.

Eighteen-year-old Matthew Murphy, 18-year-old Danny Meas, 18-year-old Marco Polo Hernandez and 20-year-old David Hurd were taken into custody on charges of theft and organized retail theft. Nineteen-year-old Andre Boatman also faces a theft charge.

Six other juveniles linked to the theft case have ties to Centennial High School.
