Autopsy: Missing Man Accidentally Drowned

PORTLAND, Ore. -- An autopsy of a 22-year-old southeast Portland man missing for a month showed he accidentally drowned, according to the medical examiner.Portland police said they pulled Tyler Brady's body from the Willamette River Wednesday afternoon. The autopsy was conducted Thursday.Brady was last seen Feb. 18. Surveillance photos from that day showed him at a Safeway store in northeast Portland and at Couture Nightclub in the Pearl District.Family and friends described his disappearance as highly unusual and co-workers said he never missed a day at work.Investigators said Brady disappeared with his bike but the bicycle hasn't been found.Detectives said a citizen spotted Brady's body at about 1 p.m. Wednesday near the Oregon Museum of Science & Industry submarine on the river's east bank. A Multnomah County dive team searched the area after the recovery."I tell people I didn't know how good I had life, how easy it was, until this happened," said Dave Brady, Tyler's father. "It's definitely hard to describe."
