Northwest police are discovering many streets and residential thoroughfares are becoming dangerous speedways. It’s not unheard of to see traffic going 60 mph in 25 mph zones with children nearby.

FOX 12’s "Good Day Oregon" investigates why drivers are turning our roadways into "Streets of Speed."

KPTV Reporter Mark Glyzewski ventures to these neighborhoods to pinpoint just how fast speeders are going. Mark also follows police officers as they try to crack down on these persistent speeders. Watch for these special reports on "Good Day Oregon."
