Several Injured After Gun, Knife Fight

One person has been hospitalized after a gun and knife fight in northeast Portland.

Police said a group of people got into an argument in the parking lot of Jody's Bar and Grill on Northeast Glisan Street around 1:30 a.m. Monday.

One person, identified as 39-year-old Nelson Enriquez, suffered a non-life-threatening wound to the arm. It is unclear to authorities if he was shot or stabbed.

Several other people suffered minor knife wounds.

Authorities charged 34-year-old Angel Mena-Canet with one count of assault in the second degree. He has been booked into the Justice Center Jail.

There is no further information as to what provoked the fight.

The incident remains under investigation.
