Seahawks Pro-Bowl LB Tatupu Leaves Game With Knee Injury

POSTED: 10:02 pm PDT August 25, 2008

(Sports Network) - Seattle Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu left Monday's game against the San Diego Chargers after injuring his knee.

He did not return to the contest and, according to the Tacoma News Tribune, will undergo an MRI on Tuesday.

The report says that Tatupu left the locker room on crutches after the game and looked very stiff.

A Pro Bowl selection last year, Tatupu had 109 tackles and four interceptions for the Seahawks. The Southern California product has 335 tackles, 6 1/2 sacks and eight picks in his three-year career with Seattle.
