Joe V visited a new business in northwest Portland that takes a unique approach to karaoke.

Voicebox is located at 2112 NW Hoyt at NW 21st Avenue. It is Portland's only karaoke venue that lets you rock out in the privacy of your own party room.

The grand opening is Friday, Nov. 14. You can make advance bookings and reserve a single box by the hour.

Gift certificates are available and so are spots in karaoke clinics.
