June 2009: Breast Health

Maybe your annual mammogram comes from a desire to be healthy for yourself or for your children. Maybe it's a tribute to a loved one affected by breast cancer. Every woman's decision is personal; everyone has a story.

That's why at Southwest Washington Medical Center, we take a personal approach to each patient's care. Our new Kearney Breast Center offers advanced breast imaging technology, compassionate services and the convenience of a comprehensive breast center, all under one roof.

But don't take our word for it. Watch videos and read stories as people in our community share how breast health has had a personal impact.

Maybe you are diligent about doing a monthly breast self-exam, scheduling an annual physical, and having your annual mammogram. Or maybe you never quite seem to find the time to do them. Learn what you and your healthcare provider can do to make a great team.
