Radio station 95.5 FM will make the switch from hip hop to sports later this month, the station announced Thursday.

Rose City Radio will launch Sportsradio 95.5 "The Game" on May 12. It will be Portland's second all sports radio station and will compete directly with 1080 AM "The Fan."

"The Game" will feature play-by-play broadcasts from the Portland Trail Blazers, Seattle Seahawks and University of Oregon Ducks.

Its weekly line-up will include the popular national show, "The Jim Rome Show." Local sports personalities Katy Brown and Ken Vance will host a morning drive-time show, while The Oregonian columnist John Canzano will host an afternoon show daily from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
