A handful of University of Oregon football fans had their celebration cut short Saturday night when they returned to find broken windows on their cars.

During the Ducks' win over the Huskies, thieves smashed the windows of three cars and stole several items at a park-and-ride.

Angie Werder said a thief took her son's football equipment and some personal documents that included her home address.

"It's really disconcerting," Werder said. "You feel like you just want to be here. (We) went to the game to have a good time and we had a great day. To end your night in such a negative way, it's really sad that it's come to that."

Werder said the park-and-ride is poorly lit and the noise of a nearby train can muffle other sounds.

A crowd of 58,778 watched Oregon's 44-10 win over Washington on Saturday night. It was the eighth-largest crowd in school history.
