Buffalo Bills 2009 Draft Preview (Revised)

(Sports Network) - The Bills picked up an extra first-round pick (No. 28 overall) as well as a 2009 fourth-rounder when they dealt Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters to the Eagles last week, but also created a glaring need at Peters' vacated spot. If Ole Miss tackle Michael Oher or Alabama's Andre Smith are still on the board at No. 11, look for Buffalo to choose between them. The Bills were a poor pass rushing team after end Aaron Schobel was hurt early last season, and the Draft's best remaining pass rusher could be the target with the newly-acquired No. 28 pick. The team looks set at quarterback with Trent Edwards, Ryan Fitzpatrick, and Gibran Hamdan, but given running back Marshawn Lynch's legal struggles and the advancing age of the newly-acquired Dominic Rhodes (30), finding some depth there could be a necessity.
