Christon And Liberty Dominate Shock

(Sports Network) - Shameka Christon had 25 points to help the New York Liberty to an 80-64 win over the Detroit Shock at Madison Square Garden.

Loree Moore had 15 points while Cathrine Kraayeveld had 13 points and five boards for the Liberty, who snapped a three-game slide.

Cheryl Ford had 13 points and 10 rebounds while Deanna Nolan and Kara Braxton each had 12 points for the Shock, who have dropped five of their last six games.

New York used a 22-8 second quarter to take a 39-26 lead into the locker room. Detroit cut its deficit by six points in the third quarter, but New York dominated the final frame for the win.
