Poitiers, France -- (Sports Network) - Anselmo Moreno successfully retained his WBA bantamweight title Saturday with a 12-round split decision over Frenchman Mahyar Monshipour.Moreno (26-1-1), of Panama, was ahead on two scorecards 116-113 and 116-112, while the challenger took the third, 115-113. Monshipour (31-4-2) had won his previous three fights.
