KPTV/KPDX is the place where Portland, Oregon turns to get up-to-the-minute news and happenings. In addition to being the city's news source, we are also the city's community leader for information on civic and community news and events.

KPTV/KPDX Student Intern Program offers you hands-on work experience in a dynamic and creative work environment. Through the KPTV/KPDX program, you have the opportunity to develop tangible skills that may be transferred into many work areas in the broadcasting business.

Our program is:

• Open to students, 18 years of age or older, of schools/institutions who offer academic credit for this program
• Unpaid in exchange for academic credit
• Designed for students currently enrolled in disciplines relating to the broadcasting industry
• Varied in length depending upon school/institution credit requirements

Student intern positions may be available in:

• News
• Production
• Sales and Marketing
• Engineering
