KPDX 49 seeks a qualified individual for the selling of advertising time on the station. This position will be able to advise clients on marketing and advertising strategies, develop new television accounts, negotiate advertising rates, and professionally convey the benefits of television advertising on a network affiliate.

Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years successful media sales experience and/or related sales/marketing experience. A marketing/advertising background along with a college degree is preferred.

Candidate must be proficient with the following software: Wide Orbit, Marketron TV Sales, Scarborough, CMR, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Qualified candidate will possess good communication skills, the ability to work with and provide outstanding service to both internal and external clients, work well under extreme pressure, be comfortable making presentations for large and small groups, be skilled at listening for buying signals, have the desire to achieve goals and objectives, be organized, self-motivated, and competitive.
