A motions hearing has been scheduled for March 31 as part of restraining order and divorce proceedings between Kaine and Terri Horman.
A hearing had been scheduled for Thursday morning, but was canceled.
Kyron Horman disappeared from Skyline School in northwest Portland on June 4, 2010.
No suspects have been named in his disappearance, but Kaine Horman and Kyron's biological mother, Desiree Young, have said they suspect Terri Horman was involved.
Investigators have not said whether any clues or evidence have been found in the case of the missing boy. They have repeatedly searched the waters around Sauvie Island.
