Ben Senger anchors the weekend editions of the 5 O'Clock and 10 O'Clock news and is a reporter during the week. He joined Fox 12 Oregon in September 2010.
Ben has more than a decade of experience working as a news writer, reporter and anchor. His career started with a brief stint behind the scenes in Minneapolis. His first on-air job took him to Duluth, Minn. Then, he left the Midwest and spent about eight years in the South: He worked at TV stations in Nashville and Knoxville, Tenn., and Winston-Salem, N.C.
A Minnesota native, Ben grew up in East Grand Forks, Minn. He later moved to St. Paul to attend the University of St. Thomas where he graduated with a business major and a journalism minor.
Ben is thrilled to be in Portland, a great place to live and work. He and his wife, Alisha, spend their free time exploring the local food scene and the great outdoors – often with their sons, Evan and Colin, along with their two mutts, Belle and Jackson.
