Andrew Padula joined KPTV in August 2008 as a reporter and assignment editor.
At a young age, Andrew knew he wanted to be in the news business. While going to school at California State University at Northridge, Andrew was a part-time anchor and reporter at a radio station in Ventura, Calif. After Andrew graduated from college, he worked as a reporter at a cable TV news station in Hawthorne and was a writer for a Los Angeles radio news station.
Andrew's career path soon took him to the deserts of New Mexico, where he worked as a reporter in Roswell for about one year.
From there, he moved to the Pacific Northwest and worked as a reporter for four years in Eugene before making the move to Portland. He worked across town on the assignment desk before moving to KPTV in 2008.
Andrew enjoys living in the Pacific Northwest and hanging out with his friends, going out to eat and being out-and-about in the beautiful city of Portland.
