SALEM, OR (KPTV) - Deputies in Marion County are seeking the public's help in locating a missing fugitive, wanted for violating his parole.

Investigators said David "Fetch" Torres, 32, of Salem has an extensive criminal history that dates back to his teenage years.

Deputies said Torres is facing jail time for violating his parole earlier this year. He last reported to his parole officer in March.

Torres, who also goes by the aliases Michael Chavez and Michael Fuentes, has been known to hang out in Salem near State Street and 49th Avenue. Investigators said he has been seen driving Honda Accords and Civics, but does not own a car himself.

Deputies describe Torres as a Hispanic man, about 5'9" tall, weighing 170 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He also has his last name tattooed on his neck.

Investigators said he has a history of resisting arrest and assaulting officers.

Detectives are asking anyone who has seen Torres, or knows where he is, to call 911 immediately.
