Brooke Carlson is currently a sports reporter for FOX 12 as well as the co-host for Better Portland. She has worked for FOX since 2000.
Carlson started her career at the NBC station in Bend Oregon in 1999 where she was a weekend anchor/reporter. After a few months, she moved to the morning anchor desk where she hosted the two-hour morning news cast. In September of 2000, Carlson joined the team at FOX where she worked as a reporter/producer for the weekend 10 p.m. news.
In 2003, Carlson became the 7 to 9 a.m. producer of Good Day Oregon. During this time she also created the franchise, Good Day Dining, a feature on Portland's newest and notable restaurants.
From 2006 to 2009, Carlson became one of the correspondents for the nationally syndicated lifestyle show BETTER. She was responsible for finding the latest trends in fashion, fitness, health, and beauty to a large audience. She was also sent to Los Angeles, Hawaii and Mexico to interview celebrities and to feature different parts of the world for the show.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, biking, hiking, snowboarding, playing soccer, and traveling with her husband.
