Police say they're looking for a bank robber who wore an unusual outfit -- an Oregon Ducks T-shirt along with an Oregon State Beavers cap.
The getup sparked authorities to dub the man "The Civil War" bandit, after the annual rivalry game played between the Ducks and Beavers.
In each of the robberies, investigators say, the man gave a note to the teller, then ran from the bank with the cash.
Officers have linked the man to the following robberies:
- March 11: Chase Bank at 19200 SW Martinazzi Ave. in Tualatin.
- April 14: Wells Fargo Bank at 4515 SE Woodstock Blvd.
- May 11: Chase Bank at 1839 Molalla Ave. in Oregon City
The man is described as white, in his late 40s or early 50s, 5 feet 10 inches tall with thin build and an acne-scarred face. The man may also be wearing a fake mustache.
Whoever helps solve the case could be eligible for a reward of up to $6,000.
