Three Teens Arrested In Oregon City Burglary

Posted: Updated:

Three teens face charges in connection with a burglary at the Oregon City Youth Sports equipment building.

Police say they arrested Stephen Ragsdale, 19, Jeramie Scott, 19, and Douglas Wing, 18, yesterday. Officers say the building at Wesley Lynn Park was broken into shortly before 3:00 a.m. They believe the suspects got inside by cutting the padlock to the gate and then prying off the handle.

Police say the teens then stole an ATV used for field maintenance, and pushed it through the park and onto Caddis Place. Someone living nearby reported being awakened by the noise of the suspects trying to start up the ATV and called police.

Officers say they managed to make their arrests shortly after they were called. All three suspects were book at the Clackamas County Jail on charges including burglary and criminal mischief.
