An Arizona and an Alaskan are behind bars in the Marion County jail after Oregon State Troopers say they found nearly 12 pounds of marijuana inside their car.
The OSP trooper pulled over a 2008 Dodge Charger on northbound I-5 outside of Salem for a traffic violation and during the stop police say an OSP drug detection canine found the drugs. The trooper arrested the two men in the car, the driver Anthony James Hosney, 40, of Surprise, AZ and passenger Timothy James Lambrecht, 52, of Anchorage.
Hosney and Lambrecht were arrested and booked into jail on charges of unlawful manufacture, possession and delivery of marijuana.
The marijuana has an estimated value of $30,000.
