Wilsonville man pleads guilty to sex abuse

OREGON CITY, OR (KPTV) -

A Wilsonville man pleaded guilty on six sex abuse charges in two separate cases.

Brette Howe will spend 15 years behind bars and he must register as a sex offender.

In March, Clackamas County deputies arrested Howe. Detectives said the 20-year-old would lie about his age as he befriended and lured young girls on social networking web sites such as Facebook. Two victims came forward in the investigation.

At the time of his arrest, deputies said that Howe defended himself, saying he had the parents' permission to date one of the girls.
