Lebanon man killed by tractor

LEBANON, OR (KPTV) -

A Lebanon man was killed by the tractor he was operating.

The Linn County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a call of a tractor crash at a family farm on the 38000 block of Titeca Lane in Lebanon around 3 p.m. Saturday.

When deputies arrived they found Robert Fred Meyer, 88, pinned under the tractor.

Officials determined Meyer was attempting to clear brush along the embankment when the tractor got too close to the edge causing it to roll over.

Family members say Meyer was working alone on the family farm at the time of the accident.
