Trail Blazers center Marcus Camby was arrested this week on suspicion of possessing marijuana near a Texas school.
Police in Pearland, near Houston, say an officer stopped a black 2010 Porsche Panamera for an equipment violation at about noon Monday.
The officer reported smelling burnt marijuana coming from the car, police say, and a search turned up less than two ounces of pot.
Both Camby, 37, and Kendal Lance Johnson, 24, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, two ounces or less, in a drug-free zone. The charge is a Class A misdemeanor.
Bond was set at $2,000. If convicted, the men face up to one year in jail and up to a $4,000 fine.
The Blazers are not releasing any statements about the arrest at this time.
